Ashtanga Yoga Club: Winter Weekend
January 23 – 25, 2026 | Centre de Vie, Ripon, QC
Led by Isabelle Kramer & Gabriela Drew
Join us for a soulful winter escape—a sacred weekend to reconnect with your breath, body, and inner stillness. Nestled in the peaceful hills of Ripon, Québec, Centre de Vie offers the perfect sanctuary to embrace the quiet magic of January.
Each day begins in noble silence, gently guiding us inward through morning meditation, pranayama, and Mysore or led-style Ashtanga Yoga. These grounding rituals are followed by nourishing organic meals, thoughtful workshops, and time to move, rest, and reset.
Expect asana explorations, energizing movement drills, and immersive practices designed to awaken both strength and softness. Between sessions, enjoy the crisp beauty of the season with optional winter activities—snowshoeing, forest walks, cozy fires, and the deep comfort of stillness.
Evenings are reserved for rest and ritual: Yin-infused massage practices, storytelling, and long savasanas to soothe the body and soul.
On our final day, we’ll rise in quiet reflection, close with a morning practice, and step back into the world—clear, strong, and deeply nourished.
Space is intentionally limited to preserve the intimacy of this retreat.
Come exactly as you are. Let winter hold you.

STRENGTH AND SURRENDER
A Week of Ashtanga Yoga & Introduction to Esalen® Massage: Releasing the Scapula
March 2–8, 2026 | Centre de Vie, Ripon, Quebec
Led by Jenny Pareno & Isabelle Kramer
Join us for a transformative week of embodied exploration at the serene Centre de Vie in Ripon, Quebec. This immersive retreat weaves the discipline of Ashtanga Yoga with the nurturing art of Esalen Massage, focusing on the powerful interplay between strength and surrender in body, mind, and heart.
Each morning begins with Ashtanga yoga, building inner fire, breath awareness, and resilience through Mysore-style practice and a Sunday-led Primary Series. This dynamic, meditative form cultivates deep focus while honoring each practitioner's individual rhythm.
Late mornings open into the fluid, connected world of Esalen Massage, with a special focus on releasing the scapular region—a potent area where physical tension and emotional stress often reside. You’ll learn foundational techniques of Esalen touch, including long integrative strokes, breath-guided pacing, and mindful presence. Throughout the week, we’ll explore how to gently mobilize the shoulder girdle, free the scapula, and restore spaciousness in the upper back and heart center.
Guided by experienced practitioners Jenny Pareno (Esalen Massage)and Isabelle Kramer (Ashtanga Teacher), this retreat offers a rare opportunity to:
Deepen your personal yoga practice in a supportive, focused environment
Learn hands-on massage techniques rooted in somatic intelligence
Reconnect to your body’s natural rhythms and capacity for healing
Rest, reflect, and restore in a peaceful, nature-immersed retreat setting
Whether you're new to massage or refining your touch, this week invites a full-spectrum reset—balancing activation with deep listening.
